St. Moritz — Birthplace of Winter Tourism on Your 3D Ski Map
St. Moritz invented winter tourism. In 1864, hotelier Johannes Badrutt bet a group of British summer guests that they would enjoy the Engadin valley in winter. They came, they loved it, and the rest is history. Two Winter Olympics later (1928 and 1948), St. Moritz is still one of the most glamorous ski destinations on earth — and now you can explore it in full 3D on Bonvo.Ski.
Three Mountains, One Legend
The St. Moritz ski area is split across three main sectors:
- Corviglia — The main mountain directly above St. Moritz. Wide, sunny slopes and the Munt da San Murezzan summit at 3,057 m.
- Corvatsch — On the Silvaplana side. Higher, more challenging, with a stunning glacier descent and some of the best off-piste in the region.
- Diavolezza — A separate area near the Bernina Pass. Home to the famous glacier run down to Morteratsch — one of the longest descents in Switzerland.
