5 Weeks In — 35 Days of Daily Ski Content and Counting
Thirty-five days. Five full weeks of daily posts exploring the Alps through Bonvo.Ski's 3D maps. If you have been following along, you have virtually visited some of the most iconic ski areas in the world — and we are just getting started.
This Week: Austria's Finest
The last few days took us deep into Austrian skiing. We explored the massive 305 km Ski Arlberg domain through Lech-Zürs, climbed above 3,000 metres on Sölden's glaciers, and stared down the 78% gradient of Harakiri in Mayrhofen. Each resort showed off a different Bonvo.Ski feature — from elevation profiles on glacier terrain to expert slope rankings for finding the steepest pistes.
What We Have Covered So Far
- Swiss classics — Zermatt, Verbier, St. Moritz, and more
- Austrian powerhouses — Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Lech-Zürs, Sölden, Mayrhofen
- App features — 3D maps, offline downloads, slope rankings, run recording, elevation profiles, speed tracking, lift filtering, and amenities search
What Is Coming Next
Starting tomorrow, we cross into Italy. The Dolomites are calling — Kronplatz, Alta Badia, Madonna di Campiglio, Livigno, and Bormio. If you think the Austrian Alps are dramatic, wait until you see what the Italian mountains look like in 3D. The sheer rock faces, the unique dome shapes, the Sellaronda circuit — it is going to be spectacular.
Five weeks down, and the daily habit of discovering a new resort or feature feels like it is just hitting its stride. See you tomorrow in the Dolomites.
