Day 100 — A Quarter Through the 365-Day Journey
Day 100. Triple digits. A round number that felt mythical when we published Day 1 ninety-nine days ago, and now we are standing on top of it. One hundred consecutive daily posts, not a single day skipped, and a new season-long pivot already underway.
What Has Changed Since Day 90
The first 90 days lived inside the winter season — fresh tracks, resort spotlights, app tutorials, and the rhythm of a real ski calendar. Day 91 was a deliberate pivot: out of the snow, into the off-season, and into a new audience. The focus has shifted to novice snowboarders — the people who decided last winter that they wanted in, and who are using the summer to prepare for the next.
The Plan Through Summer
- Gear basics — Boards, boots, bindings, jackets, layering, gloves — all the things first-time riders Google.
- Learning fundamentals — Indoor snow centres, dryslope, fitness, lessons, mindset.
- How-to mechanics — Falling leaf, edge control, linking turns, first tricks.
- Hotspot locations — Mayrhofen, Laax, Saalbach, Niseko, Whistler.
- Travel and accommodation — Flying with a board, picking a hütte, deciding on ski-in ski-out.
One hundred down. Two hundred and sixty-five to go. The streak continues. See you tomorrow for Day 101.
