How to Share a Drawing with Your Ski Group Before the Trip
The best ski days start with a plan. And one of the most useful things you can do before a group trip is to scout the resort in the Bonvo.Ski app, draw your planned routes and meeting points, and share the drawing with everyone before you even leave home.
Step 1: Scout the Resort
Open your destination resort in the app and spend some time exploring the 3D map. Identify the slopes you want to ski, the lifts you will need, and any points of interest like restaurants or mountain huts. Rotate the map to understand the terrain and figure out where the best meeting points would be — usually at the top or bottom of key lifts.
Step 2: Draw Your Plan
Switch to Drawing Mode and mark up the map:
- Draw your planned route — Trace the slopes and lifts you want to hit in order.
- Mark meeting points — Circle or highlight where the group should regroup if you split up.
- Note alternatives — Mark a backup plan for bad weather or crowded lifts.
Step 3: Share with the Group
Save your drawing and share it directly to your ski group. Everyone in the group can view it on their own device, seeing your annotations overlaid on the same 3D map. This means even first-time visitors to the resort will know exactly where to go and where to meet.
Why Pre-Trip Planning Matters
Groups waste a surprising amount of ski time standing around debating where to go next. A shared drawing eliminates that friction. You have already agreed on the plan, everyone can see it on their phone, and when someone asks "where do we meet for lunch?" the answer is already marked on the map. More skiing, less standing around. That is the goal.
