Spring Skiing Checklist — 7 Things to Do Before the Season Ends
April is here. For most of the Alps, the season is winding down. Lifts are closing, snow is softening, and suddenly you realise there are things you meant to do all winter but never got around to. Here is your spring skiing checklist — seven things to take care of before the last chairlift stops spinning.
The 7-Point Checklist
- Check closing dates — Many resorts close mid-April. A few (Zermatt, Hintertux, Stubai) stay open on glaciers. Do not assume your favourite resort is still running.
- Download glacier resort maps — If you plan to ski late season, download the offline maps now. Glacier resorts are often in areas with poor signal.
- Review your season recordings — Open the Bonvo.Ski recordings tab and scroll through your runs. How much vertical did you ski this season?
- Share your best run — Use the run sharing feature to send your top recording to a friend. Make them jealous.
- Export GPX files — If you want to keep a permanent archive, export your recordings as GPX before the season fades from memory.
- Try a new resort — There is still time. Pick a resort you have never visited and use Bonvo.Ski to plan the day.
- Generate an AI group photo — Gather your ski crew for one last day and create a fun AI-generated group photo as a memento of the season.
Spring skiing has a magic all its own — sunny terraces, soft snow, and empty slopes. Do not waste the final weeks. Get out there and make them count.
